The trend graphs are

an extremely useful feature for analysing the performance of the machine and process.

The trend charts are divided into two sections, machine parameters and temperature.

To Logic800

The machine section

allows the simultaneous display of any two running conditions, including

  • Screw speed

  • Motor load

  • Line speed

  • Melt pressure

  • Melt temperature

  • Wall thickness

  • Diameter

This allows comparison between a range of associated conditions, for example melt pressure can be viewed along with average wall thickness.

A graph of three temperature zones are displayed, and all barrel and head zones can be freely selected.  This can be useful in the event of a heater failure, as the effect on the adjacent zones can be accurately seen.

The sample time for the trend graphs can be changed as well as the maximum and minimum values so any change in values can be viewed precisely.
